In the quaint cellar of our trattoria and wine bar "La Cantinella" you can enjoy delicious, homemade Italian specialities. Lovers of Mediterranean cuisine will get their money's worth here, from antipasti through to dolce e formaggio. To complete your meal we provide a small range of exquisite Italian wines. During balmy summer evenings you can dine on our terrace lined with lemon trees.

Travel information

By car: Exit the Frankfurt-Karlsruhe-Freiburg motorway (A5) at Müllheim/Neuenburg. Continue on route B378 towards Müllheim. Proceed towards Badenweiler West or Badenweiler Ost, depending on your direction of travel. The hotel is located in the town centre, above the Cassipeia Therme thermal baths. By train: From the ICE railway station Freiburg/Breisgau, continue to the Müllheim/Baden railway station. From Müllheim, take the bus to Badenweiler (the journey takes about 20 minutes), or use a taxi. The nearest car-sleeper railway station is Lörrach, which is about 25 km from Badenweiler.

Badenweiler marks the spot where the Black Forest sweeps gently down to the Rhine rift, within the charming, sun-drenched Markgräflerland region. Enjoy a restorative holiday in this border triangle and relax as you explore the deep forests and sunny vineyards, whether on foot, by bicycle or via a round of golf. A must during your stay is a visit to the wonderful "Cassiopeia-Therme" baths, where you find an award-winning domed bath, a marble bath, various saunas, a Roman-Irish bath and an oriental "wellness oasis".

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
