Apart from the standard amenities, rooms at the Dorint Maison Messmer hotel include a bathrobe, flip flops, a bottle of mineral water and even a phone in the bathroom. Room service provides hot and cold snacks 24 hours a day.

The Dorint Maison Messmer has a fascinating history, at one time being the summer residence of the German Kaiser and his wife. It offers double and deluxe rooms, as well as junior suites and exclusive luxury suites. The spa area is 800m² in size, and features exclusive saunas, multi-jet showers, and a huge variety of beauty treatments and massages. The restored Belle Epoque artist’s room boasts a 7 metre ceiling and is ideal for events and parties.

Food & Beverages

The Brasserie breakfast room is open Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 10:30, and on Saturday and Sunday, between 07:00 and 12:00. The gourmet restaurant, J.B. Messmer, offers tempting Mediterranean and French creations with a modern flair. You can enjoy this delightful cuisine whilst admiring a panoramic view of the spa gardens. Restaurant opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 18:00 until 22:00. Between 22 August and 09 September 2009, meals will be available in a marquee in the spa gardens. The Theaterkeller prepares delicious specialities from the Baden-Alsace region in an open kitchen while you look on. It is open Monday to Sunday, between 12:00 and 23:00. The Kaminbar, featuring a gallery that overlooks the foyer, not only provides refreshing drinks and cocktails throughout the day and in the evening, but regular live entertainment. Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:00 until 01:00.

Please note that the J.B. Messmer restaurant will be closed between 02 August and 21 August 2009.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 65.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
