The hotel creates special regional and seasonal menus using fresh produce from the region. The fresh trout dishes, which are lovingly prepared in a variety of ways, come highly recommended. During the summer we serve treats on the sunny terrace, such as homemade Black Forest gateau. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

Area information The hotel is an ideal base for hikes, motorbike trips and mountain bike tours. Winter sports enthusiasts will also appreciate the idyllic surroundings of Bad Rippoldsau. Admire the Burgbach waterfall, which is just 15 minutes away. Nature fans will be seduced by the untouched lake Glaswaldsee. Visit historic Freiburg, Baden-Baden with its famous casino, discover the Alsatian charm of Strasbourg, or see a musical in Stuttgart. The Black Forest hosts pretty half-timbered towns such as Wolfach, Schiltach, and Kirnbach. Travel information By Car: - From Stuttgart, take the A81 motorway towards Singen and exit Horb onto the B28a towards Freudenstadt. - Drive via Freudenstadt towards Bad Rippoldsau - Schapbach / Wolfach Kniebis or Zwieselberg for about 14 km. - In Bad Rippoldsau drive towards Schapbach or take the A5 motorway Karlsruhe - Basel, exit Appenweier via Oberkirch, Oppenau and Bad Peterstal. - In the city centre of Bad Peterstal, turn right at the church towards Schapbach / Wolfach. - In Wildschapbach, turn left after the crossing at the saw mill and drive for about 6 km towards Bad Rippoldsau.
