Opened in 1791, very much appreciated, Hotel Goldener Ochs has hosted many famous personalities, including the composer Franz Léhar, who used to dine in Hotel Goldener Ochs restaurant “Léhar-Stuben”, which is famous for its excellent cuisine. The traditional, valued throughout, family-run the hotel offers a central location in the imperial town of Bad Ischl, spacious and comfortable rooms, a wonderful spa area and romantic views over the Traun River. Enjoy the freshly prepared dishes in the cosy restaurant - with the regular table of the famous composer Franz Lehár -, the inviting winter garden with its integrated salad buffet and the sheltered garden. A rich selection of freshly caught fish from the Salzkammergut lakes, game from the former imperial hunting grounds and traditional dishes from the region complement the restaurant’s traditional Austrian cuisine. The restaurant is open every day. Half-board and full-board are available at an additional cost.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Half board costs EUR 14.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 28.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
