Area information Bad Herrenalb is a beautiful town in the northern Black Forest region. There is a 19-hole golf course nearby. Various facilities for sports and leisure in direct proximity of the hotel (tennis courts, Nordic Walking, hiking, horseback riding, paragliding, bowling, boccia, miniature golf, cross-country skiing and ice-skating). The 1200 year old town of Ettlingen has a beautiful and historic city centre, only 20 km away. There, the Royal Festival takes place in the summers. Other destinations nearby include the cities of Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Bad Wildbad, Stuttgart and Strassbourg, located between 20 and 80 km away. Travel information Arrival by car: • motorway A5 Frankfurt-Heidelberg • further towards direction Basel • exit “Karlsruhe-Rüppur-Ettlingen-Bad Herrenalb” • motorway A8 Munich – Stuttgart • direction Karlsruhe • exit “Karlsbad-Langensteinbach-Bad Herrenalb“ • from here only 30 driving minutes to the hotel We are located in the city centre of Bad Herrenalb at the roundabout. By public transportation: • main train station Karlsruhe • change onto the regional train (“Schnellbahn”) S1 to Bad Herrenalb • every hour a bus leaves from the station in Bad Herrenalb to "Obere Gaistal". The stop is “Rathausplatz”, directly opposite the hotel. Have a good and safe trip!
