Hotel PrinzenpalaisYou will stay in a neo-classical building which was built in 1821. Hotel Prinzenpalais is located within the historical centre of Bad Doberan. Our guests can choose to use multifunctional spaces for all kind of events as well as a comprehensive gastronomic offering and several business services. After extensive restoration our hotel will be reopened with its convention centre in June 2008.

In our orangery, our stylish restaurant, we serve creative treats of fish and game as well as precious bottles of wine. Enjoy your appetizer in our hotel bar “Prinzenbar” & Lounge or just let your day end unhurriedly- on selected day with live piano music.

Due to renovation works over the summer, the facilities will be affected as follows: - 17 rooms available by end of June - 13 additional rooms by end of September (in a seperate building) - bar and restaurant available from the beginning of July - WLAN / internet available from the beginning of July - sauna / spa by end of September

Area information

Surrounded by olden beech groves in a undulating landscape Bad Doberan is located westerly of hanseatic city Rostock. Well known lake spa Heiligendamm, a district of Bad Doberan, borders straight to the sea. Some of the local sights are the minster, monastery park, steam driven narrow-gauge railway “Molli” as well as Germany´s oldest race-course.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 23.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
