The hotel, which is lovingly referred by locals as the "corn-on-the-cob" due to its striking tower, was designed to emulate the Marina Towers in Chicago. Constructed for the 1972 olympic games, the hotel offers a stylish ambience combined with design elements of the 1970s. This 4-star superior hotel opened in 2001 and is located close to Wittelsbacher Park, just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town.
