Located on the 7th floor overlooking the Acropolis, the Tudor Hall is Athens’ most acclaimed gourmet restaurant, serving a Greco-French menu by Gallic gourmet Alain Ducasse. It is open from 07:00 to 11:00, for lunch from 12:30 until 16:30, then for dinner from 19:00 until 24:00. On the ground floor, the T Palace all day lounge bar and restaurant is the ideal place for a rendezvous, an after-work drink and dinner parties. It is a place where you can stay for hours to drink, eat or listen to music played by DJs. It is open from 09:00 until 02:00.

Private or public transport is easily available. Opposite the hotel, the Athenian Metro provides access to most areas of Athens. By Car (from the airport): - Take the Attiki Odos motorway and exit for Imitos. - Exit for Mesogion Avenue, then turn left at the traffic lights onto Mesogion Avenue. - Follow signs for Vas. Sofias Avenue, which leads onto Syntagma Square, where the King George Hotel is located. A taxi and limousine service from the airport is available at an additional cost.
Area information Ideally located on Constitution Square, this hotel is one of the most famous landmarks in Athens. It rests in the heart of the business and shopping district, and within walking distance of the Acropolis, Old City (Plaka) and most of the city's sights and attractions. The palace was originally built to serve as an annex to the palace, which occupied the building that housed Greece’s Parliament on the square’s eastern flank. Later, it served briefly as the prime minister’s residence before being acquired by a Greek businessman who added several floors and converted it into a hotel. One of its first guests was King George II, who made it his haunt. In the 50s, 60s and 70s, it was also the favourite hotel of international celebrities, magnates, world leaders and movie stars. These included Aristotle Onassis and Maria Kallas, Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Frank Sinatra and Francois Mitterand.
