Area information Hotel Moka is in the heart of Athens. - 3 minutes away from the Archaeological National Museum. - 15 minutes from Larisis railway station in case you want to travel by train all over Greece. - 5 minutes from Pedio Areos, from where you can take a bus to visit the eastern suburbs and beaches (Rafina, Marathonas, Sunio etc). - 15 minutes from the central bus station in case you want to travel to southern and western parts of Greece. - 5 minutes from Omonia Square where the central Metropolitan railway station is located. - 20 minutes walk from The Acropolis, Plaka and Syntagma Square if you want to explore the city of Athens. - 25 km from the 'El. Venizelos' airport of Athens. Travel information From Elftehrios Venizelos National Airport, travel time to reach Hotel Moka is about 50 minutes as you are 25 km away. The airport is located in a suburb of Attica called Spata. By taxi (easiest way): Taxis are more expensive betweeen 00:00 and 06:00 because a night fee is added. Be careful: most taxi drivers will try to overcharge you by charging you the ride per person. That is not legal. The price is per ride even if there are 4 of you. If you feel that something is wrong about what he is telling you ask him to drive you to the nearest tourist police to ask. He won't go there, but he will know that he can’t fool you. Available 24 hours. (Travel time is 35 to 40 minutes.) By Bus (cheapest way): Take bus X95. The bus will take you from the airport to Syntagma Square. From there, the easiest way to reach Hotel Moka is by taking the metro to Omonoia Square. Get off and find 3rd September street. Keep going until you find Stournari street (5 blocks) and then turn left. We are across the street. Available 24 hours. (Travel time: 50 minutes, depending on traffic.) By Metro (quickest way): Take the metro directly from the airport (blue line) towards Syntagma Square. Change trains (red line) and reach Omonoia Square. Get off and find 3rd September street. Keep going until you find Stournari street (5 blocks) and then turn left. We are across the street. The ticket allows you to use all public transport for 24 hours. Available from 05:25 until 00:20. (Travel time: 40 minutes.) By Suburban Train: You can also take the suburban railway but due to maintenance on the lines sometimes the train is cancelled. Nevertheless it is the only train that runs 24 hours. By Car: Park at the port of Pireaus. Take the subway from Pireaus until Omonoia Square (20 minutes). Get off and find 3rd September Street. Keep going until you find Stournari Street (5 blocks) and then turn left. We are across the street. Available from 05:25 until 00:20.
