Area information Athens Golden City hotel is ideally central and easy accesable for bus, tram, metro and taxi. Only 5 min away from and Omonia sq and Metaxourghou sq you can go and come around easily. You can walk to the Acropolis in 10 min. Travel information It takes about 25 minutes by metro to get to the hotel from the Athens International Airport (ATH). The ticket costs EUR 6 per person and EUR 10 for two persons, one way. It is also possible to take the bus (E95). The price of ticket is EUR 3.00 per person, one way. It may take longer due to trafficjams. The express bus is running 24h/24h. The metro is operational from 05:30 till midnight. The taxi costs are between EUR 25 and EUR 40. These rates may vary.
