Please note that all rooms at the hotel are now non-smoking, including the bar and restaurant. Smoking is allowed in the garden.

Food & Beverages

The Beresford Arms Hotel offers traditional food, plus an à la carte menu. All food is prepared fresh and is locally sourced. The restaurant is open all day for bar snacks and dinner is served until 21:00.* Candlelit evening meals are available * 7 days a week. Private dining for parties in the Station Room is also available. All dietary needs are accommodated for - please state on booking. * The restaurant is open Sunday and Monday evenings (only for prior arranged guest bookings) between 17:00 - 20:00. Please book a table on booking information if you would like to dine.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in a family room.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
