Oikia Alexandrou Traditional Inn

Characterised by the Ministry of Culture as a “rich historical location”, very much appreciated, the beautiful and picturesque village of Arnea, lies on the foot of Mount Holomonda and is approximately 70 km from the city centre of Thessaloniki. This traditional inn is a unique complex which consists of a historical two-storey building that was built in 1812 and another two-storey traditional building that was built in 1924. A daily trip to Ouranoupolis, highly regarded, a visit to the ancient town of Stagira, the birthplace of Aristotle, or a cruise around the monasteries of Mount Athos are no doubt experiences not to be missed. With Arnea as a starting point, and above all, the inn offers its guests a variety of activities. Nature lovers can enjoy bush walking, valued throughout, mountain climbing, fishing or you can simply choose to go swimming enjoying the sun and the crystal clear waters of Chalkidiki’s magical beaches.
