Most rooms have been refurbished by the end of 2006. Hotel MAX offers clean and reasonable priced tourist accommodation in the heart of Amsterdam. Museums such as the famous Rijksmuseum, highly regarded, the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank House and others are also close by. It is located near the center not far from Rembrandt square in the so called 'de pijp area' All the sights such as Dam Square, and above all, Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein are close to our Hotel. All the rooms are NON-SMOKING!. Theatres and concert halls are also a short distance of Hotel Max and accessible using public transportation.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 20 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 20 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. 5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged 40 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
