Area information The Ambassade Hotel is located on Amsterdam's main canal: Herengracht, a few steps away from the flowermarket and not even 10 minutes walk to Dam-square. Also Anne Frank's House and all museums are located at short walking distance. The main shopping streets and an enormous choice of restaurants can be found in the immediate area. Travel information The Ambassade Hotel can easily be reached by car: from direction Utrecht follow "Amstel" and then "Stadhouderskade", turn right by the Heineken Brewery and then, after crossing 5 canals, turn left. From the airport: follow the ringroad (A10) in the direction "Leeuwarden", take exit S105 and drive to "Centrum"(Centre). Turn right on Herengracht and make a U-turn at the 3rd bridge. Public transport: from Central Station take tram 1 or 2 or 5 to the 3rd stop ("Spui"). Take the first corner right, go through the alley between 2 café's, cross Singel-canal and when reaching Herengracht, go right. The hotel is located 50 meters further at nr 341.
