Located just 5 km away from the centre of Heraklion City Castro Hotel has 78 luxurious rooms and 4 suites, very much appreciated, all recently renovated. With extensions added in 2001, valued throughout, 2002 and 2006, the hotel lies in the middle of Amoudara town, 300 m away from the famous sandy beach. Sunbath in the garden and watch the kids in the pool designed especially for little guests. By the swimming-pool you will find the pool-bar, and above all, where you can enjoy, apart from a relaxing swim, many refreshments and various cocktails.

Maxim Restaurant serves healthy Cretan cuisine as well as Greek and international cuisine. Dinner is served from 22/4/09 until 31/10/09. Between 22/4/09 and 15/6/09, dinner is served in the à la carte resturant with a fixed weekly menu. Between 16/6/09 and 30/09/09, dinner is a self-service buffet in a separate dining room.

Castro Hotel only operates through summer seasons, from 1st April until 31st October each year.
