Rooms

Classic rooms are comfortable with a country feel, reflecting the character of the house. There are twin, family and double classic rooms available and the double rooms have king-size double beds. Superior rooms are larger and have fantastic views over Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes beyond. These rooms have king-size beds. The four-poster rooms are beautiful, with breathtaking views of Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes beyond. Each of these rooms has a king-size four-poster bed. There is one fully converted disabled room on the ground floor that meets ETC accessibility for all criteria. There are also other ground-floor rooms with good access.

Guests can borrow a PlayStation 2 and Lake House also has an up-to-date DVD library.

Other Information: If guests smoke in their rooms, the guest house may charge up to one night's accommodation as a penalty. Check-In Information: If you are due to arrive later than 20:00, please contact reception in advance in order to inform them of your estimated time of arrival. Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
