All rooms are furnished to a very high standard, and in addition to all modern facilities, the hotel has installed DVD players in all rooms. A selection of films are available for a small charge from reception. Family rooms consist of a double and a single bed. Start your day in the cafe-style buffet breakfast room where you can help yourself to continental style cuisine. This comprises of cereals, fruit, bread and fruit juice to name just a few items available. Throughout the day the coffee machine is on for you to help yourself to when returning from a day on the lake or walking in the fells.

Lakes Lodge is a new and exciting concept in Lake District accommodation. The hotel make B&B exciting by offering you a great welcome and stylish surroundings right in the centre of Ambleside in the heart of the Lakes. Come for anything from one to 14 nights and see what makes the hotel different. The hotel operates a completely non-smoking policy. If guests smoke in their rooms, the hotel may charge up to 1 night's accommodation as a penalty.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
