Hotel details

Hotel La Bussola has been awarded with the certificate of international standard UNI ISO 14001-04 for the attention paid to the creation of an environmental-friendly atmosphere. From mid June to mid September, on the rocks in front of the hotel a jetty is available with complimentary deck-chair and sun umbrellas for bathing facility Only 200 metres from the hotel there are two beaches. From the harbour there is a boat-service to many other beaches along the coast.

Area information No other place in the world has can boast such a wide variety of civilisations, ranging from ancient Greece (Paestum), ancient Rome (Pompei and Ercolano), to the Medieval and Renaissance eras. Discover sites of geological interest such as Mount Vesuvius and Solfatara or visit Naples and its art treasures, the breathtaking views in Ravello, and the beaches and shops of Capri, Sorrento and Positano. Travel information Travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Salerno. From there to Amalfi a schedule bus service (SITA BUS) almost every hour from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm It takes 70 minutes. In summer time, from Salerno to Amalfi there are also many steamers. They leave from the harbour in front of the railway station. Travelling by car, from Roma you take the highway a2 direction Napoli and from there Salerno. The nearest exit to Amalfi is Vietri sul Mare. 20 Km of beautiful but twisting road on the Amalfi Coast and you are in Amalfi. Our hotel is set right on the Promenade, easy to find. Travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Napoli- Capodichino at 70 Km. From Airport we are able to arrange a taxi transfer.
