We are proud to present you are new renovated rooms. The new rooms are decorated with new furniture, which give the room a more warm look. We hope to give you a feeling as like you are home. Golden Tulip Alphen aan den Rijn has 57 rooms in total, of which 37 Comfort Rooms, 14 Superior Rooms, 5 Limited Edition rooms and 1 Superior Deluxe.

Hotel details

The tasteful design of our 8 meeting rooms make them suitable for all kinds of meetings and trainings but also for receptions, parties and intimate private dining’s. The length of our biggest conference room is 172 square meters. In the following type’s of sitting we have a maxim capacity of: Sit down diner 140 persons; Reception 225 persons; U-Style 40 persons; Theatre 125 persons; Square 45 persons. Pets are allowed in the hotel room, but they need to be held in a cage.

Food & Beverages

Our dining room “Restaurant Brasserie Toor” is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. In 125 years it has become a statement. You can visit us every day for lunch and dinner. During the lunch (11.30h..-17.00h.) we may offer you different types of breads. When you are visiting us with a client, we have a special business lunch.(2-course menu, dishes changing every day) During dinner (17.00h.-21.30h.) we offer a lot of seasonal dishes. You have the opportunity the select your own 3- or 4-course dinner. If you are interested in all a dishes, we serve a special “Tasting Menu”. This is a parade of dishes, in a 4-course menu you will taste a the specialty’s of the menu. Our cosy living room-style BAR 1878 is the perfect place to get a drink after a business day or a meeting. BAR 1878 is opened from Monday till Thursday, between 17.00h. and 01.00h. The bar is also the perfect place for an employee party or a family reunion.(max. of 50 persons) For those special occasions it is not a problem to open BAR 1878 on other time’s than the opening time’s.

At time of check-in a valid credit card or a deposit of EUR 25 is required.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 5.95 per hour.

Free Public parking is possible on site.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 14.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.
