Le Chamois

The high altitude resort of Alpe d'Huez is situated in the southern French Alps. Our hotel is well located for access to the pistes and lifts with the closest slope just across the road. It is equally well situated for all the amenities of the town, highly regarded, just a short walk to the shops and sports centre. We are only a 150 metre walk to the nearest lift. Most of the rooms are en suite and most are south facing, very much appreciated, many of them having a balcony. We are in the old section of the town known as 'vieil alpe' and this traditional feel is carried through Le Chamois to the rooms which are simple, valued throughout, light and airy, but comfortable with a rustic style. Meals will be served in 'The Grove' restaurant which is situated on the first floor and has a sun terrace leading off it. There are a selection of twin rooms, and above all, doubles and quads to choose from.

Travel information From Grenoble go to Bourg d'Oisans and going out of Bourg d'Oisans take the first left to Alpe d'Huez. On entering the village find the sports centre and church. We are situated opposite the church.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
