Just in the Cathedral square, the first “charming hotel” in Almería has recently opened. Hotel Catedral is a cosy superior four-star establishment equipped with 20 rooms which has made possible the restoration of a building constructed in 1850, representative of the middle of XIX th century architecture, with a “manierist” style, typical of Almeria´s bourgeoisie and due to the peculiar dimensions, the customized attention will be the key of its management. With an important investment, and more than two intensive work years, the promoters have managed to rebuild a manorial build, which as well as evoking us the past, have leant against the new audio-visual technology which have been implanted in conference rooms and rooms equipped with computers and connection to ADSL-internet line, intelligent air-conditioning and hi-fi equipment. The guest of Hotel Catedral will be able to enjoy of very special rooms, meeting and conference rooms and a Jacuzzi on the flat roof solarium overlooking the Cathedral and the Alcazaba (Arabic fortress).

Food & Beverages

The establishment also have “La Catedral” Restaurant, which offers a very imaginative and exclusive gastronomy, as well as conference rooms of different capacity, where it will be served foods in a more confidential ambient. The coffered ceiling of “neomudejar” style which prevail the restaurant and the 11th century “aljibe”, are some of the architectural appeals of a Hotel which will set a milestone in the hotel trade of the city.

Internet via TV is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 12.84 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 21.40 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
