Area information Directly opposite the hotel lies the historic Harzer small gauge steam railway station, which goes as far as Quedlinburg. The staff at the hotel will be happy to help organise hunting and fishing trips, clay-pigeon shooting, golf, paragliding and kite flying. There are more than enough cultural and natural hiking destinations around the hotel, including castles, palaces and lakes. There are 12 lakes to swim in nearby, and 154 km of hiking and cycling trails.
