Area information The Ötztal region is perfect for recreational sport and visiting historical monuments, including the Ötzi monument (dedicated to the discovery of Europe’s oldest naturally preserved mummy). In winter, the Hochötz skiing area welcomes snow fans to ski down the slopes or have a rest at one of the many cozy huts. Travel information By Car: - Cross the border into Tyrol and continue on the Inntal motorway or the federal highway to Imst and then further into the Oetztal. By Train: - Get off at Oetztal station. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the hotel. By Plane: - Airport Innsbruck is about 70 km away from Oetz. - Airport Munich and Zurich are about 150 km away.
