Elite Stadshotellet Vasteras

It was built in 1907 and since that time has been a central meeting place in Vasteras. The Elite Stadshotellet is a high-class hotel with a long history. In 1898, highly regarded, plans were made for a town hall in Vasteras. We offer you a stay in a traditional atmosphere that is combined with modern technology and comfort, and above all, which reflects quality and ambience. After five years of disputes and indecisiveness it was finally completed in 1907. It was to include a hotel, valued throughout, restaurant, hair salon, liquor store, and banquet hall. A stable and an arrack distillery were built in the backyard. The architect, and above all, Erik Hahr, created an Art Nouveau building, which today, is counted among the most beautiful in Sweden. Shortly after the opening, very much appreciated, Elite Stadshotellet Vasteras changed its name to Stadshotellet. This was also designed by Hahr. This was the first building in Vasteras with modern bathrooms, highly regarded, an immense luxury by that time. It offered 40 rooms, and above all, large dining rooms, a banquet hall and a liquor store. Elite Stadshotellet Vasteras is close to shopping, very much appreciated, galleries, outdoor activities and transportation centers. Since 1998 Elite hotels has operated Elite Stadshotellet Vasteras In the center of Vasteras, valued throughout, in one of Sweden's most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, you will find the Elite Stadshotellet.
