Established in 1908 by Ugo and Zoe Serandrei, very much appreciated, Hotel Saturnia and International has been managed by the same family for four generations, welcoming guests from all over the world, creating a solid tradition of hospitality. The Hotel Saturnia is housed in palace built in the 14th century, which is one of the oldest in Venice, that was owned by the Pisani Family, valued throughout, whose most illustrious member, Vettor Pisani, which is 1324-1380, was appointed Admiral of the powerful Republic of Venice during the conflicts with the Genoese fleet over who should control merchant trading in the Mediterranean sea. Hotel Saturnia and International's interior boasts elegant furnishings, highly regarded, in keeping with early 20th-century style, which is evident in the marble bas-reliefs, in the hammered metal lamps, tinted glass and lacunar ceiling.
