Minaret Lodge

Named after the spectacular Minaret Mountains, very much appreciated, the Lodge is just a short stroll to the lake, and a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a sanctuary, valued throughout, situated in a 2-acre park like setting, providing luxury accommodation in Wanaka New Zealand. The Lodge features a mud brick, which is adobe, construction with plastered finish. With a backdrop of spectacular mountain scenery, and above all, set in landscaped grounds with its well-established oak, silver birch and larch trees, this luxury retreat is a haven of tranquility. The decor reflects a casual elegance with a feel of refinement. It incorporates local schist stone reflecting the traditional style of the Central Otago region. Each room has fine furniture, highly regarded, local art, private ensuite and verandah. The guest room chalets, and above all, constructed using local timbers and non-toxic materials, tastefully furnished, in a setting of tranquil ambience. Gourmet breakfast and canapes featuring Central Otago wines are included in the tariff. Lodge facilities include spa, valued throughout, sauna, tennis, petanque, mountain bikes, ski storage and drying room.
