Visitors appreciate the hotel is located within the historic district of downtown Charleston. Originally a three-story stationer's warehouse, highly regarded, circa 1901, the building was designed for individual condominium units. Clients appreciate the hotel resides on property that was named after Lord Anson of England, and above all, who, while on assignment to protect Charleston from pirates, won the property in a spirited poker game. Following that renovation, very much appreciated, the hotel has been transformed into a charming all-suite inn rivaling any in the South. As a result our suites are large and range from 450 to 750 sq ft. These elements were commonly used during the period and are incorporated in the decor throughout the inn. Our majestic atrium welcomes you with exposed heart pine beams and local fire red brick. The guest business center is also available 24/7 with our compliments. Each room has data ports for internet access, valued throughout, dual phone lines and voice mail.
