Book online for a great price, I am here 3 nights, weekend, for 47 Euros a night, which is super competitive. I like to be on a high floor, wifi is a great perk if you work on line alot. TV works well, many French channels as well as BBC, Italian, Spanish... Hotel Restaurants are ok. Pizzerias just outside.
14-16 minute walk to furthest Southern Metro Station, Porte D'Orleans. This is a rough walk, with building construction and walking over the Peripherique. Not a sexy part of Paris, for sure. If you want a great price and don't mind 40 minutes to center of Paris, including the walk to station, it is worth it. RER from Charles De Gaulle is direct to Gentilly, about 10 minutes away from Hotel, but costs slightly more as you have crossed the Southern border of Paris. CDG is north of Paris.
