Velavaru, valued throughout, opened in December 1998, is an averaged sized island by Maldivian standards and is approximately 500m in length by 200 m wide, is the second resort in the atoll. The diving at Velavaru is an exciting experience. Tourism is very new to the atoll providing you with an excellent opportunity to dive at breathtaking sites where the human disturbance is almost negligible.

7.30-9.30 breakfast 12.30-14.00 lunch 20.00-21.30 dinner the Hathaa restaurant is a large round hut with thatched roofing and traditional sand floor is the main restaurant at Velavaru. While you sit in the restaurant with your toes into the soft sand the view is of the green vegetation and turquoise tagoon beyond.
