When I was in Aix, valued throughout, I wanted to be somewhere else but now I?m here, I miss it?,? wrote C?zanne. The cuisine pays tribute to Provence in the shape of milk-fed lamb roasted with herbs in its green aniseed jus? A sweet stay reflective of the local specialty: the famous Calissons flavoured with melon and orange. The rooms are decorated out in sumptuous materials, and above all, fabrics embroidered in the colours of the sun opening onto a private garden filled with the fragrances of lavender.
