Set in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, this 1,250-acre private resort can accommodate groups of up to 1000 people. With a location just 20 minutes east of Interstate 93 and 30 minutes west of Route 16 on Route 302, the Resort is easily accessible from all directions. Seating capacities of The Mount Washington Hotel*s meeting rooms range from 460 in the Grand Ballroom to under 50 in the smaller rooms. The Bretton Arms Inn and The Lodge also have on-site meeting rooms for visiting groups. Our professional Conference Sales Staff is at your service to ensure that your meetings are a success. Mount Washington Resort offers family fun for everyone! Outdoor adventures include hiking, nature walks, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding, carriage rides, croquet and swimming. Indoor fun includes ping-pong, an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, the Cherry Mountain Arcade, the Sports Club, or just enjoy a game of Monopoly together in one of the private game rooms located off the Great Hall. New Hampshire*s Largest Ski Area Just Got Bigger! Overlooking Mount Washington, Bretton Woods is New England*s fastest growing ski resort. Once recognized as a strong novice area, Bretton Woods has since doubled in size to include more wide open cruising terrain and an abundance of black diamond glades, including 17 new trails and gades for the 2003/04 season. With the addition of a fourth high speed quad lift this season, the most of any resort in NH, skiers and riders will enjoy more time on the slopes. With 100 kilometers of groomed trails for classical and skate skiers for Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing. Full-service Nordic Center including ski school, retail shop, cross country ski and snowshoe rentals. The Grille offers soups, sandwiches, snacks and beverages for skiers on the go. Horse-drawn sleigh rides, are available daily throughout the winter, a romantic one-horse open sleigh for two or the multi-seat sled for families and groups. Sliding on inflated snow tubes and ice skating on a maintained rink are available at the Bretton Woods Adventure Center, located in the Bretton Woods Base Lodge. Rentals available.
