Recreation Information
All of our properties are located in the Kissimmee area of Orlando, which is home to the Walt Disney World Resort. Walt Disney World is comprised of the Magic Kingdom which features Cinderella's castle, Epcot which features the white-dome Spaceship Earth ride, Disney-MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Disney provides transportation via monorail or bus between the four parks, but neither Disney nor Mouse Pads provides transportation between the parks and your vacation home. To get to the Walt Disney World Resort from your vacation home, take 192 towards Interstate 4 and follow the signs to Disney World. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are separate theme parks located on the same property. At Universal Studios you can ride the movies, as various moving rides take you through the sets of many popular films such as Jaws and ET. Islands of Adventure features more thrill rides and rollercoasters than Universal Studios, yet houses Seuss Island, based on the popular children's books by Dr. Seuss. To get to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure, take Hwy 192 to I-4 East, and follow the signs to Universal. Sea World is located only a few miles from Universal, and features Shamu, the friendly Kiler Whale. Children and adults alike will enjoy the various marine-life shows and activities where you can touch dolphins, sting-rays, and other marine mammals. You can even walk through a tunnel in a giant 3-story shark tank. To get to Sea World, take Hwy 192 to I-4 East and follow signs. Various dinner shows are available any night of the week. Arabian Nights and Medeival Times feature medeival-themed shows with horses and jousting. Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede features a western themed show with Buffalo, horses, racing ostriches and pigs. Reservations are necessary for dinner shows and can usually be made the day of. Any of our staff members will be happy to assist you with reservations.
Restaurant / Dining Information
Restuarants and grocery stores/supermarkets abound within 3-5 minutes of all properties. Restaurants include TGI Fridays, Chili's, Carrabba's and Olive Garden, Steak-n-Shake, McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Chic-fil-a, Wolfgang Puck, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe. Dominoes and Papa John's pizza delivery available. Supermarkets include Publix, Winn-Dixie, Albertson's.
