Sandpiper- An inspiring combination of challenge and beauty located adjacent to the resort at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Breathtaking seaside and mountain views from every hole. This championship course has been rated by Golf Digest in the top twenty-five public golf courses in the nation. It was designed by William F. Bell in 1972 and features rolling fairways and challenging greens in a seaside links style layout. Glen Annie- Located two miles from Bacara. Renowned mountainside course with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and The Santa Ynes Mountains. This course was designed by Robert Muir Graves and Damien Pascuzzo in 1996 and measures 6424 yards. Glen Annie is a championship level course and has been rated by both Golf Digest and Fore Magazine. TENNIS- Daily Lessons, clinics, match arrangement service, ball machine and rental equipment are all available on four lighted, cushion comfort Har-Tru clay courts. THE RANCH AT BACARA- 1,000 acres of natural terrain backing onto the Los Padres National Forest. Sprawling hills. Breathtaking views. Guided hiking on specially designed trails. 450 acres cultivated to produce avocados and a selection of organic vegetables and fruits for the resort. Ideal for outdoor exercise, nature lectures, picnics or meditation. THE SPA AT BACARA- 42,000 square-foot spa facility located on three levels with 36 treatment rooms including 4 private spa treatment suites for multiple services. The Menu of Services offers a variety of treatments for both men and women by skilled and licensed professionals. NATURE HIKES- The Ranch at Bacara offers three levels of guided hiking that are part of the fitness center's daily excercise schedule. The Weirs- This beginning level hike is a sunlit trail that commences on the Ranch road and slowly ascends amid avocado and lemon groves, located near a stream beneath large oak trees. Avocado Ranch Road- This intermediate level hike runs up a challenging trail that winds through avocado trees to spectacular mountain-side views of the Pacific Ocean. Condor Peak- An expert level hike that quickly ascends along a trail of uneven and loose terrain. Great views of the rolling mountainside and Pacific Ocean. Hiking boots strongly recommended.

Miro- Miro, named after Spanish artist, Joan Miro, offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, an artistic, luxurious interior and extraordinary Basque-Catalonia cuisine. Dishes are accented with herbs and vegetables grown at the resort's 1,000 acre Ranch at Bacara. To further enhance the dining experience is a tremendous selection of world class wines selected from Miro's 12,000 bottle Wine Cellar. The Bistro- A sweeping ocean view with both indoor and alfresco dining on a seaside terrace, lend the casual Bistro the feeling of an intimate spot on the Italian Riviera. Only the purest and freshest ingredients are selected for the Bistro*s richly flavored Mediterranean cuisine, with an emphasis on regionally and locally grown produce and herbs. The Bistro uses wood-burning ovens to cure and smoke its own fish, meats and vegetables which result in an unforgettable meal. Spa Cafe- Casually elegant, the Spa Cafe features both indoor and outdoor dining, with a striking view of the tranquility pool from the patio. Every meal contains less than 25 percent calories from fat with a staff well versed in the nutritional content of every meal. Organic wines are available, as are low fat and soy milk desserts, including soy milk ice cream and sugarless chocolate souffle.
