Meeting / Conference Information
Meetings can be held in three rooms - Gathering Room - casual atmosphere with couches Dining Room *conference table* Travel Room *small table for 4* There is a practical limit of approximately 7-9 for corporate meetings or retreats. Breakfast, lunch, dinners, and snacks and refreshments can be arranged. The atmosphere is warm and does not have the sterility of a normal corporate meeting venue. Our business guests frequently choose to hold interviews in the Travel Room or Gathering Room because they provide a more comfortable and less intimidating atmosphere for perspective employees and customers.
Recreation Information
Main Street *10 minute walk* is an ideal place to stroll, and has a tree-lined *French boulevard* feel to it. It boasts some 60 restaurants, many with outdoor tables, and 5 fabulous performance theaters with Broadway and West End performances. This year - Rent, Godspell, Cabaret, Annie Get Your Gun, Tony and the Divas and many more. From April to November there are free 2-3 hour evening street concerts downtown three evenings a week *Wed. Thur. Fri.* The Bi-Lo Center Concert and Sports Arena is a two minute walk from Pettigru Place. *Recent performers- Elton John, Tina Turner, Faith Hill, Ricky Martin, N*SYNC, Britany Spears, and Champions on Ice*. There are river walking and jogging paths nearby. A fantastic art museum with a permanant collection of Wyeth works, and another with Rembrandts, Rubens, Van Dycks and Titians, The Palmetto Expo Center is 5 minutes away. Furman, Clemson and Bob Jones University are an easy reach. There are eight nearby state parks in the mountains with dozens of hiking trails, a wilderness area and heritage areas. *Fall for Greenville*, the *Coca Cola Arts Festival*, *Downtown Alive* and various festivals are held yearly.
Restaurant / Dining Information
A complimenetary freshly prepared gourmet breakfast is prepared daily and served in the Dining Room. It may be served upon request in the Travel Room or in guest*s room. Clients can make special requests for breakfast, such as low fat, vegetarian, etc. Complimentary wine and cheese is served upon arrival. Due to proximity of so many fine restaurants, we do not normally serve lunch or dinner. However, luncheons or dinners can be prepared for business meetings, retreats, showers or bridal luncheons. Business guests who do not wish to go out for dinner can also have food ordered in, which we can plate for service in the dining room or guest room. Seven Oaks Restaurant is a two minute walk. Soby*s and an additional 60 restaurants are a safe 10-15 min. walk.
