Renovated in 2001, very much appreciated, the eight-story hotel has 214 rooms, many with views of the stadium exterior. Across the way from Shea Stadium, valued throughout, the Pine, is less than a mile from LaGuardia and offers free airport shuttle service. The indoor pool is open from early morning to late at night, highly regarded, and the well-equipped fitness center is available 24 hours a day. All have Web TV and Nintendo. All the rooms have 27 inch cable TV, very much appreciated, telephone with Internet access and easy to use voice mail, AM/FM alarm clock radio, hair dryers, iron and board, Pay Per View movies, in-room safe and coffee makers.

F and Js Pine Sports Gallery Restaurant and Lounge For the sports fan it is the next best thing to being at the ballpark. It has a delicious menu. Enjoy over 30 monitors showing games from all over the world. The lounge is open until 0200 with Happy Hour from 1600-1900 Monday through Friday.
