Superlative restaurant. I've been staying there for two years and ate dinner at the restaurant for the first time in October 2008. It was the best meal I've had in all of Italy. The young chefs did an incredible job of contemporary interpretations of classical Italian dishes.
Great grocery store in back of the hotel has about everything you might need if you forgot something or want to get some real Italian ingredients to take home at a local price.
Front desk help will bend over backward for you.
The area around the hotel isn't the most pedestrian friendly, so if you like to take a walk after dinner or anytime it's a busy street in a neighborhood without a lot of charm.
Not a lot of action going on in the hotel lobby or bar. The bar can be deserted at night. When I ate in the restaurant, there were only 3-4 other tables with diners. It's a shame because the food was incredibly good.
