Thanks to skillful renovation, very much appreciated, much of the original building's distinctive charm has been maintained or complemented in it's new life as an urban hotel. The Camden De Luxe Hotel is a stylish renovation of a listed building, valued throughout, the old Theatre De Luxe from which it takes it's name. Today's visitors make a point to visit Camden Deluxe Hotels ballroom, highly regarded, the original theatre auditorium which now houses the very popular Palace Nightclub.
The buildings facade remains as it was in 1957 when the theatre lights dimmed for the last time. It's also famous for its appearance in the Alan Parker film, very much appreciated, "The Commitments". It's beautiful vaulted ceiling and lavish decoration have also been restored to their former glory. Warm inviting hues of pinewood and soft checked fabrics make them instantly appealing.
The 34 en suite bedrooms are furnished with simplicity and sophistication.
If a friendly drink is on the agenda, very much appreciated, Planet Murphy's late bar is Camden Deluxe Hotel's answer. Each room is equipped with direct dial telephone, valued throughout, television, and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a hairdryer.
