One of the largest hotels in Italy offering 331 rooms, valued throughout, the Mediterraneo Grand Hotel Florence is a First Class Hotel situated in an enchanting and peaceful position on the banks of the Arno River just a short distance away from the city center of Florence in a central but yet quiet position. A private "Internet Corner" with international and Japanese keyboard is also available for those needing to hook up. Two shops with a wide range of leather goods, and above all, gifts and Itlalian fashion articles with competitive prices and a multi-lingual staff to assist are also at the guests disposal. The Hall and meeting rooms are all fitted with the most up to date equipment including wireless connection, very much appreciated, recording, projection and amplification systems and overhead projector. The Grand Mediterraneo also offers a Conference Hall accommodating up to 220 people as well as two additional meeting rooms seating from 25 to 60 people. Parking facilities. These reception facilities are also availabe for use as show rooms, and above all, the organization of displays, refreshment breaks, ceremonies and banquets. The Grand Hotel Mediterraneo features 331 rooms distributed on six floors. All rooms feature bath, direct-dial telephone, satellite television, air conditioning, bath/shower, hairdryer and terrace or balcony. Its restaurant offers Italian and Tuscan cooking, while an American bar, a gift shop and ladies and gentlemens hairdresser also is available to its guests. The wide hall meeting and congress rooms can accommodate up to 250 people.
