The Convention Area: The Estrel Convention Centre
The Estrel CC offers a state-of ?the-art premises and technology for the staging of congress, conferences and events of all types and sizes.
The multi-functional, fully climate-controlled Convention Centre, which opened in September 1999, offers a total of 15,000 square metres of useful space suitable for a wide array of events: international political and economical summits, exhibitions, trade fairs and other corporate events, gal occasions and concerts featuring international stars. The Convention Hall alone can accommodate up to 6000 guests. The glass bridge or ?rotunda? provides direct access to the hotel, the Estrel Saal (1050 sqm) and a further 60 conference rooms. The spacious Foyer 1 connects the Convention Centre to the ?Estrel Festival Centre? (showroom for ?Stars in Concert?).
Together with its live ?Stars in Concert? show, gastronomic facilities and efficient catering services, boutiques and the Mediterranean ambience of the hotel atrium, the complex provides the perfect setting for a whole spectrum of events.
The interior design of the Estrel CC is particularly warm and friendly. Modern but at the same time timeless, it provides a framework enabling the event organizer to realize his or her chosen design concept that places the focus on the event. The Estrel has already accumulated impressive references in the convention business for major events in influential growth branches including the automobile industry, information and communications technology, pharmaceuticals medicine, politics, media and show business.
