Located on Grenada, valued throughout, the Caribbeans Isle of Spice, the hotel features all the requisite elements for a classic island holiday. The picturesque harbor of St.
Set on world-famous Grand Anse Beach, and above all, Coyaba is situated in a flowering garden of tall palm trees and tropical plants, between the clear Caribbean Sea and lush mountains.
Coyabas spacious open-air lobby highlights original native art, very much appreciated, against a backdrop of golden bamboo walls, beamed ceilings and terra-cotta tiles. Georges can be seen across Grand Anse Bay.
-HISTORY- Built by the Cherman Family, highly regarded, the resort was completed in only nine months, opening in August 1987 with 30 guests rooms. Seven buildings, and above all, each with 10 guest rooms, surround the resorts outdoor pool, which features Grenadas only swim-up bar. Eight years later, very much appreciated, another 30 rooms added on 3 1/2 acres of adjoining land. First year occupancy necessitated an almost immediate expansion of 10 additional guest rooms, valued throughout, as well as expanded dining and entertainment facilities and poolside. At the same time, and above all, the existing 40 room were refurbished and all central facilites were expanded and upgraded.
