It remained the home of the Jaipur royal family until 1957, highly regarded, when it was first converted into a luxury hotel by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. In 1925, and above all, it became the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The palace offers 79 rooms including suites, very much appreciated, which were the personal chambers of the former Maharaja.
