Per?kammari
Per?kammari is the rear section of the Log Restaurant. It can be separated with curtains to act as a meeting room. In schoolroom and lecture layouts, it can accommodate about 60 people and in U-shape layout about 40. The meeting room can be reserved after midday.

Nunnuka
An exotic, igloo-shaped hut seating 80 people, located beside the base station of the Sun ski lift. The hut is open when the Sun lift is. Enjoy your own picnic lunch in front of the fire, or you can book a special evening programme with Lappish food.

Keloravintola
An atmospheric evening restaurant seating 340 people ? with traditions dating back 30 years. Our menu consists of dishes made from traditional Lappish raw materials: reindeer roast from the local reindeer farmer, mushrooms, salmon, and the tastiest berries of the forest. Specialities and classic dishes of the logwood restaurant include saut?ed reindeer and Escalope of Luosto. Our menu also offers the most popular dishes of the Scandic chain. The high-quality food selection is complemented by a high-quality selection of wines and other drinks.

Kn??li Ski Restaurant
Take a break from downhill skiing and enjoy hot drinks and fast food in our ski restaurant or on its sunny terrace. There are seats for 150 people inside, and a further 50 on the outer terrace. Kn??li is open daily, according to the opening hours of the slopes. It is located directly at the lower station of the Base lift.

• Luosto Ski Center : 3 ski lifts and 7 slopes offer experiences for all. The general profile of the slopes is suitable for family travellers and friends of relaxed downhill skiing, but the Sun Slope also offers challenges to the more active skier. Snowboarders have their own Snowboarding Street. Luosto is an excellent place for cross country skiing. There are 95km well maintained tracks (of which 25km illuminated). Most of the tracks are suitable both for traditional both skating style. In addition to technical issues, track planning also took landscape views into account. During the skiing trip you will be able to enjoy the best parts of the natural surroundings.
• Amethyst mine : The active Lampivaara amethyst mine is possibly the only gemstone mine in the world that welcomes visitors. The mine at the top of the hill introduces you to the fascinating world of gemstones. You will hear stories told for millennia, and get to dig for your own lucky amethyst that has waited 2000 million years to be found. In the winter you will either ski to the mine, go on a sledding safari, ride or take the Amethyst train. In summer you will get there either by hiking through the ancient Luosto forest, or jumping on the Lampivaara Express.

Rovaniemi Airport : 100km, to the Northeast on Route 4. Follow the sign Sodankyla/Ivalo, turn to the right when you see the sign Luosto/Pyhatunturi. Hotel is located 20km from Route 4.

Hotel Location : Scandic Luosto is located in the middle of the Luosto centre, near the services. Ski slopes and cross-country skiing tracks are only 50-300 meters from the hotel cottages. A grocery shop and two safari companies are about 500 meters from the hotel. Hotel cottages are located in the forest area only 100-400m from the slopes, cross-country skiing track and hiking paths.

Drving Direction to hotel : From Rovaniemi city follow the sign for SODANKYLA/IVALO (Route 4) 110km to the northeast. Turn to the right when you see the sign for LUOSTO/ Pyhatunturi. After 20 km you will reach Luosto holiday and ski resort. Turn to the right (sign LUOSTON RINNE), and after 200m turn to the left. Then after 150m you will see the sign for Scandic Hotel Luosto.

Parking Details : There are parking places and power plugs for cars, close to the cabins. There are 20 parking places close to the main hotel building.
