The Adventure Zone
Experience the thrill and excitement of Shangri-La Mactan's newest facility, the Adventure Zone!
The Adventure Zone is an indoor adventure playground specially designed for children aged 4 years and above, consisting of over 20 separate modules spread over three (3) levels. Each module is designed to let children swing on ropes, climb up and down nets and ladders or crawl through shapes and heights of safely padded vinyl. Supervised by well-trained personnel, the zone has uniquely designed features for the ultimate enjoyment of children.
The most thrilling feature is the Drop Slide. The top which is reached by the main staircase is over 25 feet high and is almost a vertical drop to ground level. The slide then levels out and has a long run-out so it brings the participants slowly and safely to a halt before one reaches the huge ball pond at the bottom.
The Rainbow Slide is not quite as fierce as the drop slide, but is actually a slide on two (2) levels. After the first drop, you slow down until you reach the next bump where you then speed up again, landing safely into the end.
Spinning Discs come in two (2) varieties. Padded drums covered with vinyl let you sit down or stand up while spinning around as fast or as slowly as you prefer. You can even get a friend to spin you faster and faster.
Bash Bags are soft brightly colored pendulums, suspended from above. They can be punched or kicked, pushed aside as you push your way to the other side.
Swing Over Nets located on the top level consist of ropes suspended from the ceiling. Hang on to the rope while you swing across a large cargo net. You take off from a padded mat and land safely on the other side onto another padded mat.
The whole area is designed to challenge agility, balance and nerves yet in an environment that is safely padded and enclosed fully in netting. It couples the excitement of an adventure playground with the safety of a nursery.
Hotel guests may now enjoy Adventure Zone at prices starting at Php 250++ per child for a two hour session. Half Day and Full Day Activity Packages are also available at Php 550++ and Php 1,100++ respectively. A Three-Day Package is also available at Php 2,500++. Packages inclusions vary and some include lunch.

ADVENTURE ZONE PARTIES
The Adventure Zone is also a great venue for a children's birthday party. Dubbed as "Polly's Place", the party room is remarkably fun with its painted mural executed by so Ho Local, a group of art students and graduates of Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines Cebu.

TODDLER'S ZONE
For childen aged three (3) and below, the Toddler's Zone is the place to be. Located adjacent to the Adventure Zone, it has plenty of fantastic toys, also a great venue for fun and exciting kiddie activities. This facility opens daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
KIDS AT WORK
Children will surely have a great time keeping themselves busy over activities of fun and learning such a sface painting, t-shirt colouring, cooking, movie making and so much more. There are different activities set daily for different age groups.
