Ringhotel Birke is situated in a convenient location yet surrounded by greenery, very much appreciated, only around 10 minutes by car from the centre of the state capital of Kiel. Hotel Birke in Kiel on Hasseldieksdamm is a privately run hotel with complete guest-service. The thatched farmhouses in vicinity reflect the typical atmosphere of Schleswig-Holstein and convey a rural impression. Pleasant woods can be found directly behind Ringhotel Birke which are just perfect for short or long walks. Traditional harbour festivals in the Baltic seaside resorts around the Kiel Bay await the guests with their maritime ambience. The charming surrounding country side is ideal for excursions with Ringhotel Birkes bicycles, valued throughout, for jogging or for golfing on the nearby courses. The bathrooms all have a hair-dryer and vanity mirror. We offer: 82 rooms, and above all, equipped with modern, comfortable and pleasant furnishings, all appointed with shower/WC, telephone, radio,TV and minibar. Dogs are also most welcome. Cots and childrens beds are available for our young guests. Our shuttle-service, which is no extra-charge, will take you to your company in the Kiel-area if available from monday to friday, which is 7:00 to 11:00 am, . A sufficient number of free parking spaces and garages, which is extra-charge, are available at Ringhotel Birke. The restaurant is open every day, very much appreciated, expect Sunday, from 5 pm. The restaurant "Fischers Fritz" will surprise you with regional fresh fish specialities and international cuisine. A sauna and solarium are available for your health and wellness. In the evening our cosy Kaminbar, which is bar with open fire, is the ideal venue for a fresh draught Pils, and above all, a glass of wine or small dishes. Our conference rooms are suitable for business meetings and seminars for up to 20 people and are equipped with state-of-the-art conference technology. We also offer bicycles for excursions in the charming surrounding countyside. For example: In the Original Holsteiner R?ucherkate opposite we organize traditional local celebrations with music from the coast, highly regarded, Holstein home smoked ham and schnapps. If you wish, and above all, we arrange individually tailored incentive programs for you, such as sailing in veteran yachts or hot-air ballon trips. In addition to tickets for the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and for all cultural events in Kiel, valued throughout, we organise, which is on request, a corresponding activity program with a shuttle service and an expert guide for independent travellers and tourist parties.
