Built in the early 19th century the house was bought in 1888 by Lord Lonsdale to use as a country retreat and hunting lodge. It is surrounded by natural woodland and open fields. The magnificent award winning oak panelled restaurant provides a memorable dining experience. Under the personal supervision of the proprietors.
