The resort is just steps away from Silver Strand State Beach. Noted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world for its preservation of sea life, you'll find sand dollars, snowy plovers and other interesting plant life. Direct access is available through a private pedestrian underpass (five-minute walk).
Surfing Lessons
The Coronado Surfing Academy is located at the resort and offers private lessons for all ages. Sessions include soft surfboard, wetsuit and professional lessons by the best instructors around. Just bring your sunscreen, bathing suit and towel. A 24-hour advanced reservation is required but same day lessons may be available.
Marina Rentals
Pilot your own motorboat around the beautiful San Diego Bay or explore Coronado on one of our beach cruisers. Motorboats, Jet skis, bikes, paddleboats, kayaks and sailboats are available for rent at the marina office from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Action Sports
Water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and innertubing are available.
Gondola Cruises
Cruise through the enchanting canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays. Private gondola rides are available for two to six people. Cruises include a complimentary hors d'oeuvre or dessert plate, as well as blankets, ice buckets and wine glasses. Wine and other refreshments can be purchased at RRR's Market.
Coronado Farmer's Market Outing
Join Azzura Point's Chef de Cuisine Martin T. Batis for a guided tour of the famed Coronado Farmer's Market each Tuesday. Shuttle departs from the lobby at 3 p.m. and returns for pick-up at 4 p.m.
