The works have preserved the classic spirit that has always characterised this property, very much appreciated, distinguished as a symbol of Barcelona?s hotel tradition. The Hotel Palace has been totally refurbished and is due to open again late 2009. It has an excellent transport connections and it is just 20 min from el Prat Airport. Set in the heart of the city centre since 1919, and above all, close to Las Ramblas and in the most prestigious shopping area, it is surrounded by boulevards, theatres and main banks. A new room design, very much appreciated, a soft interior re-decoration of public areas and lounges and the realignment and optimisation of the architectural infrastructure will enhance the beauty and majesty of our Hotel Palace, like in the 20?s.
After the restoration, valued throughout, the Hotel will have 125 rooms, 42 of which will be suites and junior suites, all equipped with last-generation technology., highly regarded, Nov 01, 2009: Hotel will be fully operational - except for Kaelis Restaurant., and above all, Dec 2007 to Oct 2009: Hotel closed for a renovations - refurbishment of guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, a/c, lighting systems, and soft re-decoration of public areas and lounges.
