Cape Cod
The Cape Cod Room, a highly-regarded seafood restaurant, boasts fresh seafood from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, lakes and freshwater streams. It has been consistently named as one of America's finest dining spots since opening in 1933 and has been a holiday award winner for 35 years. The Cape Cod Room was also inducted into the Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News. Distant harbours are evoked by the red-checked tablecloths, stuffed sailfish on the wall, copper pots, exposed beams and weather vanes that make up the decor. This cosy, well-proportioned restaurant also features a small oyster bar.
Oak Terrace
Overlooking Lake Michigan, the Oak Terrace is located on the corner where the famed Magnificent Mile meets the Gold Coast. No matter what season of the year, the views, food and service can't be beaten. Bookbinder soup, fresh baked breads, crisp salads, sandwiches, steaks, veal, pasta, oysters, fish and deserts are always available as are daily specials and seasonal selections.
Drake Bro's
In 1918 the brothers John B. and Tracy C. Drake considered concepts for their soon-to-be opened hotel. They dreamed of an unparalleled dining experience, with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the best steaks Chicago could supply, with great wines from around the world, but Prohibition dashed their dream. 85 years later, the Drake Brothers would be proud of the steakhouse that bears their name, featuring great views, mouthwatering steaks, and a 'sip of red wine'.
Palm Court
The spot in the Drake Hotel! Located in the upper lobby, the Palm Court has been the spot for meeting friends and associates for years. Club International
Since 1920, the Drake Hotel has set Chicago's standard for elegance and excellence. As the benchmark for sophisticated hospitality, the Drake introduced Club International in the 1940s. This members-only society enjoys exclusive dining and leisure privileges at the Drake. While many members join to continue family legacies, other discriminating Chicago residents have come to appreciate the comfort and convenience that membership affords.
Coq d'Or Lounge
A popular meeting place for local residents and hotel guests since opening in 1933, the Coq d'Or was the second bar in Chicago to serve drinks following the repeal of Prohibition. It offers executive cocktails, wines, beers and classic comfort food.
