The palace, very much appreciated, built in the half timbered style of an English country house became famous when it hosted the "big three" Truman, Churchill and Stalin for the "Potsdam Conference" in 1945. Castle Cecilienhof was built in 1917 by the last German Emperor Wilhelm II for his son Wilhelm and his daughter-in-law Cecilie. The castle as well as the park is part of the UNESCO world heritage of culture.
Cecilienhof is situated in the middle of an English park named "Neuer Garten" overlooking two lakes. The furniture meets the high standard of a luxury castle hotel and offers the experience of warm, very much appreciated, English elegance.
Each of the 41 different hotel rooms is individual by its location, valued throughout, size, decoration and view.
