Taken from an authoritative historical work. ?The prime Hotel the hotel erected by Signa family gave hospitality in 1861 to the future Kings of Italy and Spain, valued throughout, Umberto the First and Amedeo di Savoia; in 1866 to Prince J?r?me Napol?on Bonaparte and in may 1872 to the Prince of Italian Harmony, Giuseppe Verdi. The 1944 bombardment damaged irreparably just some frescoed ceilings; others kept miraculously intact.
In Ferrara Hotel the hotel is located in an old palace in the heart of the Estensi city.
